Begin to Wonder’s workshops are focused on discussion driven by the participants’ ideas and engagement.
I run workshops for children and adults to excite the their natural curiosity, so that through discussing problems they can learn to engage and practice their critical and creative thinking skills. As a facilitator I work to create a ‘community of enquiry’ , encouraging participants to share their ideas and develop problem-solving strategies in a friendly and stress-free setting.

Every workshop begins with a question that the contributors have to try to answer, or a problem that they must attempt to solve.
Workshops are structured around a dialogue between the partakers, and based on lessons and activity plans available in the P4C field which is adaptable to all age groups. If you would like to also learn more about the subject of Philosophy, and various philosophers’ ideas that could be added to your workshops.

Begin to Wonder's workshops are inspired by Socrates (Plato's dialogues), Robert Fisher, Matthew Lipman's teaching style, SAPERE, Peter Worley's lesson plans, and more. I will make sure that participants will experience all of the best methods of learning, and also meet my approach to learning - based on an idea that ‘the development of our minds is part of what it means to be educated, because it’s part of what it means to be human.’ I will help, assist, and encourage everyone to express themselves and their opinions.

I can work in schools, art centres, communities, libraries, university departments, bookshops, home education groups, corporations, small and big businesses etc. Please contact me if you are interested in having these workshops in your centre/community/institution/workplace. If you are an interested parent, please recommend Begin to Wonder to your local community or school. On average, I can run them for maximum 30 participants per workshop.

Workshops are stand-alone. So everyone is welcome to participate as many times as they like.
Workshops require stress-free and quiet area so partakers can talk to each other comfortably. We can sit on chairs or pillows. Drawing board is also desirable but not essential.

Begin to Wonder’s workshops usually take 45-60 minutes.
