At the age of 13 I embraced the challenge of teaching other young people through tutoring, drawing upon the idea of learning through play. I wished to sow the same admiration and passion for learning which I possessed, breaking away from stereotypical learning techniques and encouraging innovation and creativity.

While serving as a tutor I cheered children to recognise their own value, uniqueness and ability to make an incredibly positive impact on the world. The realisation of their potential fuels them to strive to achieve the best possible results and transform distrust or disinterest into energy and enthusiasm. I tried to capture the same by devising and leading a philosophical workshop.

Whilst I was studying Philosophy I actively participated in the academic life of my university, and organised more than 40 international and national conferences, and seminars. I also created philosophy groups and sections so students can watch inspiring philosophical movies, read chapters, and debate.

When I moved to Oxford I continued to study Ethics. That inspired me to establish the Blackwell’s Philosophy Group and arrange a series of talks related to this subject.

Begin to Wonder
I currently work at the University of Oxford. However, I also love teaching philosophy, and working with children and adults. Therefore, I decided to run Begin to Wonder project to work with all age groups.

Begin to Wonder is my own project and it exists to remind people of the value of independent and abstract thinking, and to promote the interdisciplinary potential of Philosophy.
